Rehearsal and conference venue

The abbey's attractive location, good stocks of instruments and literally monastic peace and quiet make it the perfect spot to hold a course or rehearsals.

The tradition of music in Michaelstein goes back to 1968.

  • The monastery is located outside the town – ideal conditions for musicians.

  • During rehearsal breaks: just a few steps and you are surrounded by the wonderful Harz countryside.

  • The abbey offers a wide range of activities which complement the rehearsals stage perfectly:

    • Candle-lit evening tour of the cloisters
    • Drum circle – non-verbal team-building
    • Meditative tours in the historic cloister walkways
